The prices above show the most popular combinations of my time and kit, but I also regularly hire out my other technical equipment. This includes a Mackie 1402 VLZ4 Audio Mixer, full Reflecmedia Green Screen set up, 3 x Datavision LED 600 Panel lights and a portable autocue system.
If I don’t have the kit that you need myself I can pass on the numbers of some great AV companies I’ve worked with over the years who will be able to help you out.
In terms of vision mixing and streaming, my main experience is with the NewTek TriCaster product range as it’s the platform I’ve used almost daily for the last 6 years. That said, I’ve used other mixers before including Blackmagic, LiveStream HD550’s and VMix software, so I’m sure after spending a few minutes in front of yours I’ll be up to speed and ready to roll.
I’ve handled TriCaster based live streaming projects
for Edelman, Cambridge University Press and Siemens, and can project manage the entire live streaming of your event. I can recommend solutions ranging from public streams broadcast on YouTube and Facebook pages, to secure streams that are broadcast on password-protected video streaming sites.
I’ve spent the majority of the last 6 years working with large multinational companies, so I’m very comfortable dealing with clients and handling large-scale projects. I’ve produced a wide range of conventional corporate videos and am more than happy to plan and manage shoots on location.
I first got into this line of work by working on live events and conferences. I’m sometimes asked to be a Stage Manager or Production Assistant on events and am happy to help with everything and anything, from putting the kettle on to presenter coaching, stage management and PowerPoint design.
I own my own van and don’t charge extra for it’s use on my projects. I charge 45p per mile and I’m happy to organise my own overnight accommodation. I’ve been on the circuit for a while and have spent many a night in Premier Inns and Travelodges all over the country – I’m not precious about where I lay my head! I know budgets are getting squeezed so I always try to keep the accommodation, food and drinks bill below £125 a day.
If it’s been a tough day and if I need a couple of stiff drinks at the end of it, I’ll foot my bar bill!
